The Pro 3L Jacket was one of my favorite projects I worked on at Kjus. It featured custom knit panels designed match the biomechanics of the golf swing,  It harnesses strategically zoned X-Stretch panels in the key zones of the shoulder points, shoulder blades and lower back, that mirror the contours of the golf swing and allow for greater flexibility through your swing motion.
I partnered with a mill to develop a custom membrane that stretched with the outer knit layer. The outer layer’s knit structure was designed using a combination of motion-capture technology and old-school tailoring techniques. The pattern was so specifically built around improving the user’s performance that we made different versions for right-handed and left-handed golfers. The jacket was so effective and unique that the former number one golfer in the world, Phil Mickelson, would wear it in competition despite being sponsored by a competing brand.
Golf.com senior writer Josh Sens on the Kjus Pro 3L jacket:
"A lot of golf apparel brands boast about that their products marry fashion and function. This jacket lives up to that pledge, and more, with a snazzy, streamlined cut and an array of sophisticated features. It’s what Batman’s Alfred might design if his boss had plans to peg it in foul conditions before heading to a black-tie dinner. It looks great. Works great, too."
"What’s different is the fabric — so lightweight it feels like a second skin — and the way it’s stitched together, with stretchy X-shaped panels that give you near-frictionless freedom of movement. There’s a high collar in back for added protection, and small folds in the sleeves that function like gutters, funneling water away from your hands.
