At 686 I designed and developed gloves for the 2020 and 2021 collections. These collections resulted in a major strategic shift for the brand as it more than doubled the brand’s offerings in gloves and mittens. I also worked on the design of a custom glove rack we provided to stores placing large glove orders. I was able to rely on my experience with innovation design to add several innovative feature and material stories to these collections. While at 686, the factory partner requested that I build tech packs for all new innovation projects. I pride myself on building tech packs that reduce confusion and shorten production calendars
I designed multiple glove collections while at Spyder. As part of this I worked with our tech designer, to create a new fit standard and sizing chart. I also worked on glove design at Kjus. Kjus is a performance luxury brand so a lot of effort was put into implementing premium materials. These materials included Italian leather and Loro Piana wool. Working with these materials required a lot more fine-tuning of construction standards. I was the developer for all styles I designed at Kjus and worked closely with our factory to execute these products.
