At 686 I enjoyed working on the brand's many collaboration capsules. I was one of 2 designers working on the Sixer jacket and was responsible for tech design, trim design/development, and new feature design/development for the Coors and Pabst Blue Ribbon collaborations. What really excited me about our Coors Light collab were some of the product innovations I got to work on. Finding a way to merge the exciting elements of 2 brands with features relevant to both brands and useful to the consumer is a really unique challenge. For Coors we designed new pocket layouts as well as an internal suspension system to make carrying multiple "beverages" without a backpack easy. We redesigned our pocket construction to waterproof and better insulate the pockets without creating stiffness that would harm the jacket's functionality when not loaded up with cans. Besides preventing condensation or leaks from seeping through to the wearer the waterproof pockets also allowed the user to keep their drinks chilled simply by adding a little snow to  their pocket.
